Andalusian doctors organize strikes over working conditions

Medical professionals in Andalusia are organizing strikes to protest deteriorating working conditions. Rafael Ojeda has stated that the healthcare system is utilizing doctors as “cheap labor.”

The mobilization aims to address issues regarding schedules, compensation, working hours, and mandatory shifts. While the strike coincides with upcoming general elections, organizers maintain that the timing is coincidental and that the movement is a defense of labor rights against both the Ministry and the regional government (Junta de Andalucía).
