Andalusian music groups Medina Azahara and Lori Meyers make headlines
The Spanish music scene sees significant activity from established Andalusian groups. The rock band Medina Azahara is embarking on its final farewell tour, marking the end of a decades-long career. The group, which has served as a musical ambassador for Córdoba, will hold farewell concerts on October 16 and 17.
Meanwhile, the Granada-based band Lori Meyers has released a new album titled ‘Disonancia’ after a five-year hiatus. The trio, consisting of Noni, Alejandro Méndez, and Alfredo Núñez, described the creative process as challenging and turbulent, noting that the new work features polished melodies paired with darker, more introspective lyrical themes.
