Cádiz summer markets showcase flamenco shows and artisan stalls

The Melkart market in Chiclana de la Frontera is expanding its summer programme with "Flamenco Boho Melkart," a four‑night outdoor flamenco series scheduled for 23 July and 6, 13, 20 August. The concerts feature artists such as Ana Polanco, María José Fernández, Salvador Suazo, Jacob Guerrero and Daniel Torres, with tickets priced at €32.

Meanwhile, the Magic Market at the Monastery of the Victoria in El Puerto de Santa María runs nightly until 18 July, presenting 46 exhibitors of fashion, jewellery, food, olive oil and other artisanal products. The event, organised by La Factoría del Sur with municipal support, was inaugurated by deputy mayor David Calleja, who noted the "good reception obtained by the editions held at Christmas and spring". It is complemented by the Bahía Jazz Festival and a concert by Javier Ruibal inside the monastery.

Both initiatives aim to attract visitors to Cádiz’s historic sites during the summer months, blending culture, commerce and entertainment.
