Andalusian Youth Institute appoints new provincial coordinators

The Junta de Andalucía, through the Consejería de Vivienda, Juventud y Ordenación del Territorio headed by Rocío Díaz, appointed eight provincial coordinators for the Instituto Andaluz de la Juventud (IAJ). New appointees include Silvia Rodríguez Robles, a lawyer, as coordinator for Cádiz and Javier Bravo, an economist and municipal councillor, for Granada. Four incumbents were confirmed, such as Ángela Ramos Meniz in Huelva and Alba Ortiz Moreno in Málaga, while other provinces received either new or retained coordinators.

The IAJ, led by director Pedro Ramírez Sánchez, is responsible for the region’s youth policies, covering program design, implementation, monitoring and evaluation, as well as promoting social integration, cultural activities and research on youth issues. The institute works with the public company Inturjoven to manage exchange programs, student tourism and youth facilities across Andalusia.
