Andaman & Nicobar Police conduct recruitment physical tests

The Andaman & Nicobar Police Department is conducting Physical Measurement & Endurance Tests (PM&ET) for various recruitment posts. In the South Andaman District, 4,707 candidates participated in the first phase, with 1,796 qualifying after document verification and physical assessments.

In the North & Middle Andaman District, 914 candidates appeared for the tests, resulting in 267 successful candidates. The assessment process includes race, long jump, high jump, and physical measurements of height and chest.

Upcoming testing schedules include Car Nicobar from September 21 to September 23, 2026, and Campbell Bay from October 5 to October 7, 2026. Testing in Sri Vijaya Puram is expected to continue until October 13, 2026.
