Andean Silver and Antipa Minerals announce drilling and test results for Chile and Australian mining projects
Andean Silver reported infill drilling results from its Cerro Bayo silver‑gold project in Chile. The drilling confirmed high‑grade mineralisation with assays of up to 268 g/t gold and 3,045 g/t silver, supporting the company’s plan to upgrade its 20 Mt, 211 g/t AgEq resource (136 Moz AgEq) from inferred to measured and indicated categories and to commence broader resource‑growth drilling. The company noted it held US$53.4 million in cash at the end of March 2026 to fund the programme.
Antipa Minerals released metallurgical test‑work from its Minyari Dome gold‑copper project in Western Australia. The combined resource comprises 2.9 Moz gold, 91,000 t copper, 880,000 oz silver and 13,000 t cobalt. Test results showed conventional gold‑copper processing recoveries of 89‑98% for gold, rapid leach kinetics and the potential to produce both gold doré and a commercial‑grade copper concentrate. Geotechnical data also support steeper open‑pit slopes, informing the ongoing pre‑feasibility study, which Antipa expects to complete in Q3 2026.
