Andean Silver reports record-grade drill intercept at Cerro Bayo, Chile

Andean Silver announced a headline drill result from its Cerro Bayo silver‑gold project in southern Chile, intersecting 2.4 m at 15,558 g/t silver‑equivalent, including 1.4 m at an extraordinary 25,340 g/t. The find, from the first drilling at the Trinidad vein in more than a decade, confirms strong continuity of mineralisation across the Laguna Verde complex and underpins the company's plan to expand resources along an 800 m strike.

Midas Minerals, operating the Otavi copper project in Namibia, reported a separate high‑grade intercept of 52 m averaging 1.19 % copper, 8.7 g/t silver and 1.93 % lead. Iltani Resources also featured among the week’s notable ASX drill hits with a copper‑indium discovery in Queensland, Australia, highlighting the broader strength of resource exploration across three continents.

These results are expected to support feasibility studies, attract further investment and guide upcoming drilling programs aimed at converting inferred resources to measured and indicated categories.
