Anderlecht completes intensive summer transfer window

Anderlecht has completed an intensive summer transfer window, securing eleven new players in total. A significant surge occurred in the final 48 hours of the market, with the club acquiring Romeo Amane from Rapid Wien for approximately 6.5 million euros, alongside Thelo Aasgaard and Ilias Koutsoupias for a combined total of roughly 2.5 million euros. Other recent additions include Oleg Reabciuk, who joined on a free transfer, and Andrew Omobamidele, who arrived on loan from Strasbourg.

Despite the influx of talent, head coach Vitor Bruno has signaled a cautious approach regarding their immediate integration. During a press conference ahead of the match against KV Mechelen, Bruno noted that several new signings, including Amane, Omobamidele, Aasgaard, and Reabciuk, have had fewer than five full training sessions with the squad. Sporting director Sibierski emphasized that while these players were identified previously, the opportunity to finalize their transfers arose suddenly.

On a personal note, Vitor Bruno has settled into Brussels with his wife and four children. His three sons have already begun training at the club’s Neerpede facility within various youth age groups.
