Anderlecht eyes expensive striker Alieu Njie and budget defender Omar Rekik

RSC Anderlecht is weighing a move for 21‑year‑old left‑winger Alieu Njie from Torino. The Belgian club has been told the price tag is close to €15 million, with English side Everton reportedly ready to offer €10 million. Other suitors such as Monaco, Genoa, Rio Ave and AZ Alkmaar have also shown interest, but Anderlecht’s finances appear insufficient to meet the asking price.

At the same time, Anderlecht has turned its attention to 24‑year‑old central defender Omar Rekik, currently at NK Maribor in Slovenia. Rekik, a Tunisian international, is valued at about €0.5 million and has a contract running to 2027, making him a financially realistic target for the club as Maribor seeks to raise funds. The defender brings experience in several European leagues and could be signed for a modest fee.

Both players represent contrasting transfer strategies for Anderlecht—one a high‑cost option that may be out of reach, the other an affordable addition to strengthen the defence.
