Anderlecht transfer policy faces criticism amid sporting crisis

RSC Anderlecht is facing scrutiny regarding its recent transfer strategy and the performance of its new signings. Sports director Antoine Sibierski has come under fire following a summer window in which the club invested approximately 27 million euros in eleven new players.

Evaluations of the new arrivals have been mixed. While Tawfik Bentayeb has received praise for his goal production, other high-cost signings like Romeo Amane and Oliver Antman have received low ratings due to limited playing time or impact. Some analysts suggest that many players have had insufficient time to adapt to the Belgian league, especially considering international breaks and late arrivals during the transfer window.

Despite the criticism of individual performances, the club's financial position remains complex, as Anderlecht also generated nearly 65 million euros in transfer income during the same period.
