Anderson Daronco loses 12 kg to meet modern football demands

Brazilian football referee Anderson Daronco has lost approximately 12 kg following physical conditioning guidance from the CBF (Brazilian Football Confederation) refereeing commission. The 45-year-old official underwent a transformation over the last two years to better meet the athletic demands of modern football.

According to Rodrigo Martins Cintra, former president of the CBF refereeing commission, the weight loss was part of a structured program to improve Daronco’s athletic profile and cardiorespiratory conditioning. Daronco noted that the increasing speed and dynamic nature of modern matches required a physical profile more compatible with the current demands of the sport.
