Fenerbahçe and Göztepe players linked to Al Jazira transfers

Fenerbahçe is managing significant squad changes ahead of the transfer deadline. Brazilian star Anderson Talisca was notably absent from the squad for the match against Konyaspor. While the club officially stated his absence was due to the 10+4 foreign player rule and tactical rest ahead of the Olympique Lyon match, reports suggest he is a primary candidate for departure. Al Jazira Club of the UAE has reportedly reached a principle agreement with the 32-year-old, with transfer negotiations potentially seeking a fee around 15 million euros.

In a separate move, Göztepe has officially confirmed the transfer of 22-year-old Nigerian midfielder Anthony Dennis to Al Jazira Club. Dennis, who progressed through Göztepe’s youth academy, joins the UAE Pro League side following his development in the Turkish Super Lig.

Additionally, Fenerbahçe is reportedly working to reduce its foreign player count, following the departures of several players and ongoing negotiations regarding goalkeeper Dominik Livakovic and defender Jayden Oosterwolde.
