Andhra Pradesh advances quantum computing hub and AI Centre of Excellence

Andhra Pradesh quantum computing Quantinuum AI Centre of Excellence DeepTech

Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu said the state will launch the Amaravati Quantum Computing Centre by December 2026, seeking a partnership with Quantinuum to develop hardware, software, research and skills under India’s National Quantum Mission.

The Ratan Tata Innovation Hub, together with the Andhra Pradesh Innovation Society, inaugurated AI Centres of Excellence in Amaravati and Visakhapatnam. Backed by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, the centres will give startups advanced infrastructure, mentorship and commercialisation support to grow the state’s AI and DeepTech ecosystem.
