Andhra Pradesh announces AP DSC 2026 teacher recruitment details

The Government of Andhra Pradesh has released details regarding the AP DSC Teacher Recruitment Test (TRT) 2026. The recruitment drive aims to fill 2,721 vacancies for various positions, including School Assistant, Secondary Grade Teacher (SGT), TGT, PGT, Principal, and Physical Education posts.

The selection process involves an online objective-type written test. For specific roles such as School Assistants and SGTs, the final merit will be determined by a combination of the written test (80 marks) and the AP TET score (20% weightage). Other roles, such as Principals and PGTs, will be evaluated based on a 100-mark written test.

Candidates must also pass an English Language Proficiency Test. For Principal, PGT, and TGT applicants, failure to meet the minimum qualifying marks in the English component will result in their Paper-2 not being evaluated.
