Andhra Pradesh announces final EAMCET counselling and university recruitment updates

The Andhra Pradesh Department of Higher Education has announced the third and final phase of web-based counselling for AP EAMCET 2026. This phase provides engineering aspirants a final opportunity to compete for available BE/BTech seats in universities and private colleges under the Convenor quota for the 2026-27 academic year. Registration and processing fee payments are scheduled to open on September 9, 2026.

The final phase is open to various groups, including candidates who participated in previous rounds, those who were allotted seats but did not join, and those who have not yet secured a seat. While previous participants do not need to pay the processing fee again, new participants must complete certificate verification. Notably, web options selected in earlier phases will not automatically carry forward to this round.

Separately, the exam centre selection window for AP Universities Recruitment 2026 has been activated. Candidates applying for RGUKT Lecturer posts can select up to five test-city preferences, while Assistant Professor applicants are limited to three. The selection process is available for eligible candidates via the official recruitment portal, with exams expected to be conducted online across major districts.
