Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has approved several major development initiatives for the state, focusing on high-tech education and regional infrastructure.

A landmark project will establish India’s first dedicated Quantum and Artificial Intelligence University campus in Amaravati. Developed by the National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT) and fully funded by the Union Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), the 8.5-acre campus involves a Rs 730.7 crore investment over five years. Academic programs are slated to begin in September 2026, with initial classes held at Acharya Nagarjuna University.

In terms of regional development, the Capital Region Development Authority (CRDA) has sanctioned Rs 1,437 crore to provide basic infrastructure to 29 villages in Amaravati. This funding covers internal roads, drainage, water pipelines, and street lighting. Additionally, Rs 596 crore has been allocated for a public library and auditorium complex at Sakhamuru, and farm loan waivers of up to Rs 1.5 lakh per family have been approved for participating farmers.

Furthermore, the Chief Minister has directed the implementation of the Swarna Niyojakavargam Vision Action Plans across all 175 Assembly constituencies to drive localized growth and economic self-reliance.
