Andhra Pradesh CM Naidu focuses on land rights and governance

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has reaffirmed his coalition government's commitment to welfare and good governance, specifically focusing on land rights and revenue record transparency. During a Gram Sabha in the Konaseema district, Naidu criticized the previous administration for allegedly tampering with revenue records and introducing the Land Titling Act, which his government has since repealed.

To secure land ownership, the current administration is conducting a robust resurvey process. Naidu reported that 36 lakh pattadar passbooks have been issued across 8,234 villages, utilizing security features such as e-KYC, QR codes, and blockchain technology. The government aims to issue 56 lakh passbooks in 8,582 villages by next March.

In a separate political commentary, Naidu made claims regarding the personal history of former Chief Minister Y. S. Rajasekhara Reddy and his son, Jagan Mohan Reddy. Naidu alleged that during his own tenure as Chief Minister, Rajasekhara Reddy had campaigned against Naidu's son, Lokesh, but suggested that internal family tensions existed between Rajasekhara Reddy and Jagan.
