Andhra Pradesh CM orders action against coaching centers for political activities

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has ordered officials to take action against private coaching centers involved in political activities or conspiracy-driven motives. Following recent reports, the state government is investigating allegations that some coaching center managements have been pressuring students preparing for competitive exams to participate in protests and political movements.

Naidu reviewed the matter with officials, instructing that legal action be taken against any institution violating the ‘Andhra Pradesh Coaching Institutions Regulation Rules, 2026’. The government stated it will not tolerate the use of candidates for political purposes, emphasizing that these centers must adhere to established guidelines intended to focus on academic preparation.
