Andhra Pradesh Deputy CM orders legal action over fake WhatsApp channel

Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan has ordered legal action against an unauthorized WhatsApp channel operating under the name ‘Deputy CMO, Andhra Pradesh’. The Deputy Chief Minister’s Office stated that the channel is misusing the office's identity to circulate misleading information and unrelated content.

The controversy follows social media rumors claiming that Pawan Kalyan intends to resign from his position to launch a television channel. His office and Jana Sena leaders have dismissed these claims as baseless. While an administrator associated with the misleading messages reportedly issued an apology, claiming the news was shared without verification, the Deputy Chief Minister’s Office is initiating an FIR to pursue strict legal action against those responsible for the impersonation.
