Andhra Pradesh government announces recruitment for 10,060 posts

The Andhra Pradesh government has released a job calendar for the recruitment of 10,060 vacant posts through direct recruitment. The process will be conducted in four distinct phases.

Following an initial phase in May that notified 1,523 positions via the Higher Education Department, the second phase is scheduled for September 15 with 3,231 posts. The third and fourth phases, consisting of 2,311 and 2,995 posts respectively, are set for October 15.

Recruitment agencies authorized to fill these vacancies include the Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC), the AP State Level Police Recruitment Board (APSLPRB), and various District Selection Committees (DSC).

The vacancies span multiple sectors, including 149 Group-I posts such as deputy collectors and deputy superintendents of police, and 673 Group-II posts. Significant recruitment is also planned for school education (2,991 posts), police, fire services, prisons, forest, and engineering departments.
