Andhra Pradesh launches Instagram Reel contest for new ASR International Airport

The Andhra Pradesh government, through its Department of Information and Public Relations, has opened a statewide Instagram Reel competition titled “Wings to North Andhra Dreams.” Participants are asked to create 30‑second reels answering the question “What does the Alluri Sitarama Raju International Airport mean to you?” Entries must be posted on personal Instagram accounts, tagged @APOfficialNews, and include the hashtags #ASRInternationalAirport and #UttarandhraKalalakuRekkalu. The contest targets youth, university students, digital creators, Non‑Resident Telugus and residents of North Andhra, aiming to celebrate the upcoming greenfield airport at Bhogapuram and highlight its expected impact on connectivity, tourism and regional growth. The deadline for submissions is July 29, 2026, and the top five reels will be selected for special prizes.
