Former Gannavaram MLA and YSRCP member Vallabhaneni Vamsi announced plans to seek a meeting with Chief Minister Naidu to present the severe irrigation water shortage affecting farmers in the Gannavaram and Polavaram canal area. After inspecting fields where crops were wilting, Vamsi urged immediate water release from the canals and emphasized that his request was driven by farmer distress rather than political motives.
