Andhra Pradesh to implement Sanjeevani healthcare project

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has directed officials to implement the Sanjeevani healthcare project across the state starting January 1. The initiative aims to improve healthcare services through digital health records and predictive, preventive, and cost-effective medical practices.

Following a successful pilot in the Kuppam assembly constituency, which reportedly reduced healthcare expenditures for residents, the state has developed a 90-day implementation plan. This plan includes baseline studies, digital infrastructure provision, and training for health personnel across all 28 districts. The project is being implemented in partnership with Tata Medical and Diagnostics.
