Andile Mpisane denies child maintenance allegations

South African musician and entrepreneur Andile Mpisane has issued a statement addressing allegations of child neglect made by his ex-partner, Sithelo Shozi. The dispute arose following social media comments by Shozi, who suggested she had struggled to secure financial support for their two daughters for over six years.

Mpisane denied the claims, stating that he continues to fulfill his responsibilities, specifically noting that he pays for his children’s school fees and remains committed to their well-being. He clarified that his previous silence on the matter was intended to protect his family's privacy and noted that his access to the children had recently been limited, though he has since reconnected with them.

Shozi responded to Mpisane’s statement via social media, emphasizing that while statements can wait, child maintenance remains the priority.
