Andira Yofi Sulendra Elected Coordinator of Indonesia’s BEM SI

The National Assembly (Munas) of Badan Eksekutif Mahasiswa Seluruh Indonesia (BEM SI) was held from 27 July to 1 August 2026 at the Politeknik Negeri Semarang campus. About 150 campuses participating in the BEM SI alliance voted to choose a new central coordinator.

Andira Yofi Sulendra, a student of Institut Teknologi PLN, received the highest number of votes and will serve as coordinator for the 2026‑2027 term. In his acceptance speech he said the priority will be strengthening regional consolidation and building more intensive communication networks among campuses. The session was chaired by Shabbarin Syakur, Gufron Alsafi’i and Adelia Afiffatuzzahra, and the election featured three candidates from Universitas Lampung, Universitas Riau and Institut Teknologi PLN.
