Ando Hazama launches first grid-scale battery storage project in Tochigi

Ando Hazama has commenced operations at its first grid-scale battery storage project located in Iwafune-cho, Tochigi City. The facility has an output of 1,990 kW and a capacity of 8,170 kWh.

Owned and operated by Ando Hazama, the project aims to stabilize the power grid and facilitate the effective use of renewable energy by managing charge and discharge cycles based on electricity supply and demand. Sustech Co., Ltd. is participating as the aggregator, handling tasks such as charge-discharge planning, bidding, control, and performance analysis.
