Andora removes unsafe pine, vows new olive tree

The tree, which had shown serious root damage and instability in previous inspections (2017, 2020, 2023), was deemed beyond remedial measures, prompting the city to hire a specialist firm for its felling. Officials said an olive tree will be planted in its place within two days.
