Andorra advances innovation through startup and student programs
Andorra is seeing increased activity in its innovation and entrepreneurship sectors through two distinct programs. The Andorra Open Valley acceleration program, a collaboration between Creand, Plug and Play, Setap 365, and Caldea, recently held its first ‘demo day’. Eight startups, including Novem, Doshi, ToumAI, Build38, Wastelocker, TUBR, Graphite Note, and Gridbrid, presented solutions addressing corporate challenges in areas such as financial reporting processes and digital security.
Simultaneously, the eleventh edition of the Tàndem program has launched, involving 63 students and eight teachers. This initiative, driven by Andorra Business, the Aixovall Vocational Training Center, and the Ministry of Institutional Relations, Education, and Universities, tasks students with solving real-world challenges. Participating entities include FC Andorra, Grup Refesa, and Carnet Jove Andorra, with projects focusing on stadium attendance, waste transformation, and youth services.
