Andorra announces expansion of socio-sanitary centers for the elderly

Following an announcement by Minister Trini Marín, Andorra is set to expand its socio-sanitary infrastructure to ensure nearly all parishes have dedicated facilities for the elderly.

Development is currently underway for specialized housing for citizens over 65 in Sant Julià and a future residence in Encamp. Additionally, new centers are planned for Ordino and Massana. While Andorra la Vella and Escaldes already possess various public and private resources, the government aims to increase the availability of both public and private-sector services to meet the growing needs of the aging population.
