Andorra Declines Eurovision 2027 Participation

Andorra's public broadcaster RTVA announced the principality will not participate in the Eurovision Song Contest 2027, which will be held in Bulgaria. This extends Andorra’s absence since its last appearance in 2009, making it the latest country to join the boycott over the contest’s inclusion of Israel.

RTVA cited budget constraints, allocating a recent €6.2 million increase to internal needs rather than the contest, and said the event does not align with the channel’s programming strategy. The decision adds to a growing list of nations opting out of the 2027 competition.
