Andorran Data Protection Agency to host student privacy seminar

The Andorran Data Protection Agency (APDA), in collaboration with the Escola Andorrana de Batxillerat, is organizing an awareness session for students on Friday, September 18. The conference, led by digital transformation specialist Genís Roca, aims to address privacy, digital rights, and the responsible use of new technologies.

During the approximately 45-minute session, Roca will discuss topics relevant to the daily lives of young people, including digital identity, internet footprints, social media mechanics, the use of personal data, and artificial intelligence. The initiative emphasizes the importance of critical thinking in digital environments and focuses on the risks associated with data exposure, security, and personal information management. This activity is part of the APDA’s ongoing efforts to promote a culture of data protection and digital rights awareness among the citizenry, with a specific focus on younger generations.
