Andover Audio launches Andover-One DD direct-drive turntable
Andover Audio has introduced the Andover-One DD, a $999 component turntable designed to bridge the gap between all-in-one players and high-end HiFi systems. The device features a digitally controlled direct drive motor, providing speed accuracy within 0.2% and wow and flutter levels below 0.15%. It supports three playback speeds: 33⅓, 45, and 78 rpm.
The turntable is equipped with an 8.8-inch carbon-fiber tonearm with adjustable VTA and a removable SME-style headshell. It comes factory-fitted with an Audio-Technica AT-VM520xEB moving-magnet cartridge, part of Audio-Technica’s revised VMx range introduced in 2025. The unit is designed for future upgrades, allowing users to replace the stylus, cartridge, or headshell as their setup evolves.
