Andovi da Lopez to star in political comedy film Bapak Paling Jujur

Actor and content creator Andovi da Lopez is set to star in the upcoming film ‘Bapak Paling Jujur’, directed by Fajar Nugros. In the film, da Lopez portrays Jonas Prakoso, a gubernatorial candidate who becomes cursed and loses the ability to lie. This curse creates significant chaos and threatens the success of his political campaign.

Da Lopez noted that his previous experiences playing political figures, such as in the ‘Epic Rap Battles of Presidency’ series and ‘DPR Musikal’, helped him prepare for this role. He emphasized that portraying a leader requires a specific, high level of confidence intended for the public. He described the character's relationship with his wife, Vanny, as particularly challenging to act out due to the themes of deception and honesty.
