André 3000 and Cathy Moriarty join Netflix's 'Scooby-Doo: Origins

André 3000 and Cathy Moriarty have joined the cast of the upcoming Netflix live-action series ‘Scooby-Doo: Origins’ in recurring roles. The production is currently filming in Atlanta.

The series, produced by Berlanti Productions and Warner Bros Television, is a modern reimagining of the classic Hanna-Barbera cartoon. The plot follows the Mystery Inc. gang during their final summer at camp as they investigate a supernatural mystery involving a lost Great Dane puppy.

The main cast includes Mckenna Grace as Daphne Blake, Tanner Hagen as Shaggy Rogers, Abby Ryder Fortson as Velma Dinkley, and Maxwell Jenkins as Fred Jones. Other cast members include Paul Walter Hauser, Sara Gilbert, and Bruce McGill. The series is scheduled for a global release in 2027.
