André Rocha re-elected president of Fieg
André Luiz Baptista Lins Rocha has been re-elected as the president of the Federation of Industries of the State of Goiás (Fieg) for the 2027-2030 term. The election, held via a single-candidate slate at the Casa da Indústria in Goiânia, confirms his leadership for another four-year cycle.
Rocha, who also serves as the executive president of the Ethanol Manufacturing Industry Union (Sifaeg) and the Sugar Manufacturing Industry Union (Sifaçúcar) of Goiás, aims to prioritize the competitiveness of the state's industry. His upcoming mandate will focus on investments in professional training, education, technology, and innovation, as well as improving services provided by the Fieg System.
A key pillar of his agenda is the strengthening of the bioenergy sector, including ethanol, sugar, and bioelectricity production. Rocha stated that his goal is to attract investments and enhance the sector's contribution to job creation, income, and renewable energy.
