André Valadão returns to music and maintains religious influence
André Valadão, a prominent Brazilian pastor, singer, and leader of Lagoinha Global, is returning to his musical career after a four-year hiatus. He is currently in the studio recording his new album, ‘Versões Acústicas, Volume 3’, released via Onimusic. The project features seven tracks, including singles such as ‘Um Novo Dia’, ‘Clamo Jesus’, and ‘Algo Novo Vindo’. Valadão stated that the decision to return was driven by significant requests from his followers and that this acoustic project serves as a precursor to further works and his upcoming AV Tour.
Beyond his musical career, Valadão holds significant influence within Brazil's religious and political spheres. As a leader of the Lagoinha Global church, he has acted as a mediator in high-profile conflicts, including a dispute between federal deputy Nikolas Ferreira and banker Daniel Vorcaro, president of Banco Master. The relationship between Valadão and Vorcaro is long-standing, rooted in the church community, with Banco Master serving as a major sponsor of the institution.
