Andrada Mining increases H1 tin production by 13% at Uis mine

Andrada Mining Limited reported a 13% increase in contained tin production for the first half of the 2027 financial year, reaching 576 tonnes for the period ending 31 August 2026. This growth was driven by higher feed grades and enhanced plant performance at its Uis mine in Namibia.

Key operational metrics for the first half include an 11% increase in tin concentrate production to 955 tonnes and a 7% rise in the average plant processing rate to 153 tonnes per hour. The average feed grade also improved by 9% to 0.149% tin.

The company has secured NAD98 million in funding from Bank Windhoek Limited and the Development Bank of Namibia to execute planned operational upgrades. These upgrades include a new crushing and ore-sorting circuit designed to remove lower-grade material before processing. Once implemented, the ore-sorting circuit is projected to increase annual tin concentrate production by 50% to 70%, targeting approximately 2,500 to 3,000 tonnes of concentrate.
