Andrade El Idolo criticizes WWE treatment and discusses AEW earnings

AEW wrestler Andrade El Idolo has criticized WWE regarding its treatment of different ethnicities and his own career trajectory. During an interview with Latin Lover, Andrade claimed there is a disparity in how the company supports Samoan versus Mexican performers. He suggested that certain Samoan wrestlers receive repeated opportunities to succeed regardless of performance, whereas Mexican wrestlers often lack consistent platforms to reach their full potential.

Andrade noted that while he won championships in WWE, he felt he was never given the consistent push required to become a top-tier star. He specifically mentioned that performers like Berto and Angel Garza possess the talent to be major stars but have not received sufficient opportunities.

Regarding his career transition, Andrade stated that he is currently earning more money in AEW than he did during his most recent tenure with WWE. While acknowledging that WWE pays well, he emphasized that compensation in professional wrestling is heavily tied to a performer's ability to generate revenue and their specific position within a promotion.
