Andras Borbely qualifies for PDC World Darts Championship

Andras Borbely has secured his place as the Hungarian representative at the PDC World Darts Championship after winning the Hungarian Darts Super League playoffs at Mol Campus.

The 21-year-old displayed dominant form throughout the tournament, winning his semifinal against Patrik Kovacs 3-0 and defeating Nándor Major 3-0 in the final. Borbely did not drop a single leg during his semifinal or final matches.

Borbely becomes only the third Hungarian player in history to qualify for the PDC World Championship, following Nandor Bezzeg and Patrik Kovacs. He joins the elite group of competitors set to compete at Alexandra Palace.
