Andre Johnson criticizes C. J. Stroud’s body language

Houston Texans legend and Hall of Famer Andre Johnson has criticized quarterback C. J. Stroud regarding his body language during games. Speaking on the ‘LGND Talk Podcast’, Johnson stated that Stroud’s body language is ‘bad’ and expressed concern that such demeanor can negatively impact the rest of the team, noting that players look to the quarterback for cues.

Following the Texans' 36-31 Week 1 loss to the Buffalo Bills, Stroud was asked to respond to the criticism but largely sidestepped the issue. While Stroud has previously acknowledged that his body language could improve during difficult stretches, teammate Will Anderson defended the quarterback. Anderson described Stroud as doing a ‘phenomenal job’ and noted that he maintains enthusiasm on the sideline and works to center the team when things go wrong.
