Andrej Mangold welcomes first child with Annika Jung

Former reality‑tv star Andrej Mangold and his wife Annika Jung announced the birth of their first son in late July 2026. The baby arrived at the Klinikum Dritter Orden in Munich after a labour that lasted more than 24 hours. Mangold said he remained awake for almost two days to support his wife during the delivery.

The couple shared the news on Instagram, posting photos of their hands together with the infant’s tiny hand and a brief caption, "Plötzlich ergibt alles Sinn." They kept the child’s name and face private, emphasizing their joy and the emotional impact of finally becoming parents.

Mangold described the moment of holding his son as "the most emotional moment of my life" and expressed pride in his new family, while both parents reported that mother and baby were doing well after the birth.
