Andre Rosiade discusses potential PSSI leadership roles

Andre Rosiade, President of Semen Padang FC, has addressed speculation regarding his potential candidacy for the chairmanship of the Football Association of Indonesia (PSSI) for the 2027-2031 period.

Speaking at the Semen Padang team launch in Tangerang, Rosiade stated that he is not in a hurry to decide. He noted that the current term of PSSI Chairman Erick Thohir is set to expire in July 2027. Rosiade indicated that he is currently more prepared to run for positions such as a member of the Executive Committee (Exco) or Vice Chairman rather than the top leadership role.

He emphasized that his decision will depend on the internal developments of the PSSI and whether Erick Thohir intends to seek re-election. Rosiade also stated that his immediate priority remains developing the football ecosystem in West Sumatra and leading Semen Padang FC back to the top tier of Indonesian football.
