Andrea Avagnina inaugurates art space for Colegio de Arquitectos

The Lobos delegation of the Colegio de Arquitectos de la Provincia de Buenos Aires (District 5) has inaugurated its new art space at Rizutto 77 with an exhibition by artist Andrea Avagnina.

Avagnina is presenting 16 abstract works, including pieces titled ‘Composición’, ‘Turquesa’, ‘Playa dorada’, ‘Azurro’, ‘La otra orilla’, ‘Borgoña 1’, ‘Borgoña 2’, ‘Cálido 1’, ‘Cálido 2’, ‘Tierras’, ‘Revelación’, ‘La Lluvia’, ‘Huellas’, ‘Reflejos’, ‘Curvas’, and ‘Construcción’. The artist noted that she chose an abstract style at the request of the architects to showcase a different facet of her work.

The event included Sebastián Bocca, the Art Coordinator for the District 5 board, and Alicia Arata, vice president of the Lobos delegation. Arata stated that opening the headquarters to the community through culture was a long-standing goal to show that the college interacts with society beyond design and projection.
