Andrea Bagioli joins XDS Astana Team on two-year deal

Italian cyclist Andrea Bagioli has signed a two-year contract with the XDS Astana Team. The 27-year-old will join the Kazakh-based squad starting in January 2027, following three seasons with Lidl-Trek.

Bagioli, who has secured eight professional victories including Gran Piemonte and a stage in the Giro de Catalunya, is viewed as a key addition to the team's project. General Manager Alexandr Vinokourov stated that the team has followed the rider for some time and believes he can reach his full potential within their structure, which specializes in classics and hilly terrain.

In addition to Bagioli, the XDS Astana Team has also secured the services of Anthony Turgis, who will join from TotalEnergies in 2027.
