Andrea Bocelli fronts FIFA World Cup 2026 anthem 'DNA' with David Guetta, Megan Thee Stallion and EJAE
FIFA announced “DNA” as the official anthem for the 2026 World Cup, a tournament that will be staged across Canada, Mexico and the United States. The song brings together Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli, French DJ/producer David Guetta, American rapper Megan Thee Stallion and Korean singer‑songwriter EJAE.
The anthem debuted live at the opening ceremony in Mexico City on 11 June, with Bocelli remarking, “The title of the song, DNA, says it all – football has been part of my life forever and will always hold a special place in my heart.” EJAE added that the track’s inclusion of Korean lyrics “represents South Korea on this global stage.” The single is now available on all streaming platforms and is intended to embody the tournament’s themes of identity, unity and belonging – “it’s more than just a game, it’s our DNA.”
“DNA” will also appear on the official FIFA World Cup 2026 album and will be heard throughout the competition, which features 48 national teams competing in 16 host cities.
