Ciudad Juárez sees political shifts and administrative digitalization

Political activity is intensifying in Ciudad Juárez, marked by both administrative shifts and partisan movements. Mayor Héctor Rafael Ortiz Orpinel has signed an agreement with the Federal Agency for Digital Transformation and Telecommunications (ATDT) to simplify and digitalize municipal procedures, aiming to reduce response times and bureaucratic requirements.

In the political sphere, Marco Bonilla of the PAN has launched a campaign in Ciudad Juárez, emphasizing a commitment to listen to citizens and addressing regional needs such as security, infrastructure, and water. He announced plans for citizen forums across Chihuahua to discuss employment, youth opportunities, and public services.

Simultaneously, Morena leaders are organizing for a new stage in Chihuahua. Cruz Pérez Cuéllar participated in national Morena meetings and the party's 15th-anniversary celebrations in Mexico City, where he was sworn in as a coordinator. His focus remains on strengthening territorial organization and aligning with the national project led by President Claudia Sheinbaum.

Local citizens have expressed a need for increased investment in Juárez, specifically regarding road infrastructure, flood prevention, and emergency services like ambulances and fire departments.
