Andrea Iannone makes history at Harley-Davidson Bagger World Cup

Andrea Iannone made history at MotorLand Aragón by becoming the first rider to win both races of a single weekend in the FIM Harley-Davidson Bagger World Cup. Competing with Niti Racing, the Italian rider secured a perfect 50 points, significantly narrowing the gap in the championship standings with only two rounds remaining in the season.

While Iannone’s performance bolstered his title hopes, Archie McDonald emerged from the Aragón event as the new championship leader with 174 points, holding a seven-point advantage over Eric Granado. Four riders remain mathematically eligible for the title heading into the final rounds.

The event, held alongside the MotoGP Aragon Grand Prix, saw a significant presence from Harley-Davidson fans. Jeffrey Schuessler, Harley-Davidson’s Director of Global Competition Programs, noted that the Aragón round hosted more Harley-Davidson enthusiasts than any other round held so far this season.
