Andrea Kiewel describes heat-related incident with elderly dog

German television presenter Andrea Kiewel shared a personal account of a distressing incident involving her elderly dog, Carter, during a trip to Tel Aviv. While walking in high heat and humidity, the dog, who is approximately 91 years old in human years, suffered a circulatory collapse.

Kiewel sought veterinary assistance, where the doctor advised immediate cooling. Following the vet's instructions, she transported the dog in a climate-controlled vehicle. The dog subsequently experienced vomiting, leading Kiewel to express deep feelings of guilt regarding the decision to walk the senior pet on hot asphalt.
