ZDF announces new satire show ‘Journal Deluxe’ with Florian Schroeder

ZDF has announced a new satirical late-night format titled ‘Journal Deluxe – mit Florian Schroeder’. The show is scheduled to premiere on the linear ZDF program on November 3 at 0:45, with a pilot episode available via streaming services starting October 29.

Described as ‘anarchic, playful, and accessible,’ the program will feature cabaret artist Florian Schroeder as a sharp commentator on current political and social issues. The initial run is planned for four episodes. Schroeder has promised a ‘new satirical color’ that is more liberal and aims to provide fresh perspectives on contemporary debates.
