Monza Grand Prix preparations include sustainability and Disney collaborations
Preparations are underway for the 2026 Italian Grand Prix at the Autodromo Nazionale Monza, involving various logistical, environmental, and promotional initiatives.
To promote sustainability, BrianzAcque and the circuit are providing over 45 public water distribution points to reduce single-use plastic. This initiative, now in its fifth year, aims to offer safe, microfiltered water to spectators across various zones, including the Paddock and various grandstands.
Logistical adjustments are being implemented in the surrounding areas. The Municipality of Monza has ordered temporary changes to market locations and parking restrictions in Villasanta and central Monza to accommodate event structures and traffic flow.
In a major promotional collaboration, Disney and Formula 1 are launching a special series in the Topolino comic magazine. This includes the debut of ‘Kimi Paperelli’, a Disney-style version of Mercedes driver Andrea Kimi Antonelli. The collaboration features themed stories and collectible items to celebrate the young driver's rise in the sport and the upcoming race weekend.
